Physical limitations relating to safety and communications requirements for visiting groups touring the plant limit our tour group size to 18 individuals. This means early registration is important in order to accommodate those wanting to be a member of our group. An on-line registration link will take you to a form for use in reserving a spot on the tour. All visitors must provide their full name and company affiliation and Libbey Glass reserves the right to refuse entry based on company affiliation. They recommend dark clothing (won't show oil drips) and require heavy RUBBER, NOT LEATHER, soled shoes...no sneakers. If you wear glasses, they ask you to bring your own safety glasses as wearing plastic over-glasses with the headsets can become uncomfortable.. |

| Directions: Take Front Street towards Tony Packo's restaurant. Turn right on Esther Street, which is just before Consaul Street across from Fire Station 13, and then make an immediate right turn onto the unnamed service road which runs parallel to Front Street. IEEE is providing a chartered bus to transport our members and guests for the approximately 2.5 hour tour through the site. Attendees are encouraged to bring cameras. Also, attendees must wear appropriate clothing - long pants/trousers, and a full leather shoe. Personal safety equipment will be required for the tour. This equipment includes hardhat, safety goggles, and traffic vests. ODOT will provide all safety equipment, however members are encouraged to bring their own equipment if they have them. Attendance is limited to a maximum of 38 persons. An on-line reservation form is linked to the button below.
